George Rickey’s kinetic sculptures are in motion around the world,
activated by indoor air currents or powered outdoors by the whim
of the wind.

This September, in connection with three concurrent indoor and outdoor
exhibitions, the University of Notre Dame and the Snite Museum will host a
symposium to reexamine the sculpture of this internationally acclaimed artist,
who was born in South Bend, Indiana.
